At Newton, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This policy outlines our refund and cancellation procedures to ensure transparency and fairness for all our customers.

Eligible for Full Refund

You are eligible for a full refund in the following situations:

  • First 7 Days: Cancel within 7 days of initial subscription for any reason
  • Service Unavailability: If our service is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to technical issues on our end
  • Feature Misrepresentation: If core features were significantly misrepresented and don't function as advertised
  • Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a system error
  • Account Security: If your account was compromised due to a security breach on our platform
Partial Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a partial refund in these cases:

  • 8-30 Days: Cancel within 8-30 days with valid technical issues that we cannot resolve
  • Downgrade Request: If you downgrade your plan mid-cycle, you'll receive a prorated credit
  • Service Disruption: Extended service disruptions (24-72 hours) may qualify for partial refunds
  • Data Migration Issues: If we fail to properly migrate your data during plan changes
Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not available in the following situations:

  • After 30 Days: No refunds are provided after 30 days from the billing date
  • WhatsApp Account Issues: Problems with your WhatsApp account or WhatsApp's policies
  • Change of Mind: Simple change of mind after the initial 7-day period
  • Violation of Terms: If your account was suspended for violating our terms of service
  • External Dependencies: Issues caused by third-party services or integrations
  • Custom Development: Any custom development work or one-time setup fees
Cancellation Process

How to Cancel Your Subscription

  1. Log in to your Newton dashboard
  2. Go to Settings → Billing
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Follow the prompts to complete cancellation
  5. You'll receive a confirmation email

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Your service continues until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges will be made to your account
  • You can export your data for 30 days after cancellation
  • Your data will be permanently deleted after 90 days

  4. Our team will review your request within 2 business days
  5. If approved, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days

Refund Timeline

  • Review: 1-2 business days
  • Processing: 3-5 business days after approval
  • Bank Transfer: Additional 3-5 business days (varies by bank)
  • Credit Card: 1-2 billing cycles to appear on statement

Enterprise and custom plan cancellations are subject to the specific terms outlined in your service agreement. Please contact your account manager or our enterprise support team for assistance.

Dispute Resolution

If you're not satisfied with our refund decision, you can escalate your case:

  1. Email our escalation team at escalations@newton.ink
  2. Include all previous correspondence and your case number
  3. A senior team member will review your case within 3 business days
  4. Final decisions will be communicated via email

For unresolved disputes, you may also contact your payment provider to initiate a chargeback, though we encourage resolving issues directly with us first.
